The Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon Hosted by 93Q and 97.1

2011 Cure Kids Cancer RadiothonIn December 2014 the eleventh annual Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon  hit the airwaves on Cox Radio stations – The New 93Q (92.9 FM) and Country Legends (97.1 FM).

Texas Children’s Cancer Center treats more than 1,900 new patients each year, making it one of the largest pediatric cancer and hematology centers in the country. Texas Children’s Hospital is proud to participate in the Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon Program.

Funds raised through the Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon at Texas Children’s Hospital, support the Cancer Center’s mission to provide personalized, high-quality, family-centered care to children, adolescents and young adults with cancer and blood disorders. The hospital also strives to discover and implement innovative laboratory research and treatment programs aimed at preventing and curing childhood cancer and blood disorders, as well as to provide world-class education and training for current and future leaders in the field.

In 2011, the Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon broadcasted live from our clinic waiting room Friday and Saturday, December 9th-10th.  Listeners tuned in to 92.9 FM, 97.1 FM or 107.5 FM  to support our Center! Thanks to your support and generosity, in 2011 more than $706,000 was raised to heal sick children at Texas Children’s Cancer Center.
