Donald J. Fernbach, M.D., Endowed Lecture Series receives $75,750 gift from the Houston Alumnae of Kappa Alpha Theta
February 11, 2010 – Shine, Texas Children’s Hospital
Nancy Craig, 2008 chairman of the Theta Charity Antiques Show, presents Texas Children’s Cancer Center representatives Gracie McClure, ZoAnn Dreyer, M.D., director of the Cancer Center’s Long-Term Survivor Clinic, and John Scales with a $75,750 gift from the Houston Alumnae of Kappa Alpha Theta in support of The Donald J. Fernbach, M.D., Endowed Lecture Series, presented by Houston Alumnae of Kappa Alpha Theta.
The funds were raised thanks to the 2008 dr. z activities—though the show itself was cancelled due to Hurricane Ike, the Thetas generously honored their commitment to the lecture series, which brings world-renowned experts to teach and present at the Cancer Center’s annual research conference.
