Home » Purple Songs Can Fly project celebrates its voyage under the sea
July 1, 2008 – Texas Children’s Hospital
Songs from the Purple Songs Can Fly project have flown all over the world and into outer space, and now they are traveling into the depths of the ocean. Singers, songwriters, families and friends joined together in the lobby of the Texas Children’s Cancer Center to enjoy a live feed from Aquarius, taking a tour of the underwater habitat while playing Purple Songs Can Fly music.
Songwriters Zachary and Alex stand with Texas Children’s Hospital volunteer Rye and Purple Songs Can Fly executive director, Anita Kruse, while interacting with the aquanauts at the Aquarius underwater research station.
