Students at Baylor College of Medicine are once again teaming up with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and Texas Children’s Cancer Center to host a head shaving fundraiser.
The fundraiser will be held February 1, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. on the 16th floor of the Texas Children’s Hospital Clinical Care Center, located at 6701 Fannin Street (Fannin and Holcombe intersection).
Last year, students raised more than $3,500, and they hope to raise more than $5,000 this year.
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
