Home » Make a Splash against childhood cancer
Summer is here! Nothing says summer like being near the water. Kids are excited to head to the beach, pool or just run through the sprinkler to make a splash and have some fun!
But for patients at Texas Children’s Cancer Center, the summer looks a whole lot different – and they need our help. That’s why this summer, patients have started working together to make their splash count against childhood cancer.
Here is how it works:
Each year approximately 3,000 patients are diagnosed with cancer and blood disorders at Texas Children’s, and every day Texas Children’s is working hard to cure and prevent this disease. Texas Children’s treats more children with cancer than any other organization in the country and is the largest pediatric cancer and hematology center in the United States.
