The Aurora Picture Show, a non-profit micro-cinema, recently visited young patients in our Cancer Center to create some great films out of kids’ artwork, including this one.
Over a dozen kids participated and it was great to see parents working alongside their children to create images for their films.
A big screen TV was even set up in the clinic for children to watch as soon as their films were created. It was a lot of fun and very well-received by families in the waiting room. The Popcorn Kids is an Aurora Picture Show outreach program that encourages media literacy and works with patients and their siblings to create stop motion films. We look forward to having them back out soon!
