Sarah, along with her 3rd grade classmates, sold cookies and pencils to raise $1,000 for Texas Children’s Cancer Center.
May 2, 2007 – Texas Children’s Hospital
Sarah was diagnosed at the tender age of 6 months with a Teratoma, a type of germ cell tumor. Now 9 years old, Sarah is a long-term survivor.
For the past 5 years, Sarah has held successful fundraisers in her community to help other long term survivors of Texas Children’s Cancer Center. This year was no exception. Sarah, along with her 3rd grade classmates at Colony Meadows Elementary School in Sugar Land, Texas, sold cookies and pencils to raise $1,000 for Texas Children’s Cancer Center.
We appreciate Sarah and all the 3rd graders at Colony Meadows, and we are so grateful for their generosity.
