Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center

Texas Children's Hematology Center at Texas Children's Hospital

The Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center at Texas Children's Hematology Center is one of 134 federally funded Hemophilia Treatment Centers, part of a national program to provide state of the art comprehensive care to children with congenital bleeding disorders and thrombotic disorders.

We provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment programs, social services, pyschology, dental and orthopedic specialty support for the long term evaluation and treatment of these children.

The Young Women's Bleeding Disorder Clinic, as part of the Hemostasis & Thrombosis Clinic, provides services to young women with menorrhagia and bleeding disorders.

The programs are associated with Baylor College of Medicine, one of the top medical schools in the country, and Texas Children's Hospital, the largest pediatric hospital in the United States.
