Biography
Dr. Jodi Muscal is a member of the Pharmacology / Phase I Team and Solid Tumor Team. Her translational research focuses on the pre-clinical development and clinical application of new and targeted drugs for the treatment of childhood cancers. She works with the research team to maximize curative therapy and minimize treatment related toxicity. In the laboratory, she is currently exploring multiple new agents for pediatric tumors including an aurora kinase inhibitor. She served as chair of the recently completed multi-institutional phase I clinical trial of vorinostat and bortezomib in children with solid tumors and brain tumors conducted through the Children’s Oncology Group.
