When You Are Visiting
You can always visit Reflective Practice & Leadership (RP&L) without revealing who you are or providing any personal information about yourself. However, when you visit our site we do collect usage information (“web trends data”) but it is anonymous and is not linked to you as an individual. We use the web trends data to better understand how our site is navigated, how many pages are viewed, how the site is searched, the types of browsers and computer operating systems used by our visitors, and the Internet Protocol addresses from which our visitors connect to our site. This information is used only to modify and improve the site.
When You Register
If you decide to register, we will collect personal information that you voluntarily share with us. We collect information that is necessary for us to provide you with email updates when new material is posted to the site. We also collect information for use internally to determine if we are meeting the site users’ needs and if we are reaching our target audience.
We may use this information to contact you when we are doing research related to RP&L. We will always contact you first to inquire if you would like to participate in a specific research activity. If you agree, we will include you in that research activity and contact you for that purpose only. If you do not want us to contact you for research activities related toRP&L, you may let us know by unselecting the statement at the top of the registration form that indicates that you are interested in participating in research activities related to RP&L.
