Medical education
Our hematology-oncology fellowship program is one of the best fellowship programs in the United States for doctors who seek to specialize in pediatric cancer or blood disorders treatment and research.

Medical and research trainees have the unique opportunity to interact with a faculty of more than 140 experts in pediatric hematology and pediatric oncology in one of the top hospitals for children with cancer. As an expansive center that has experience with every form of childhood cancer and blood disorder, our professional and educational development programs offer extensive, in-depth exposure to a multitude of pediatric hematologic and oncologic issues.

Our outpatient clinic diagnoses over 3,060 new patients every year and schedules over 73,700 outpatient visits annually; this provides our trainees with the opportunity to have hands-on experiences with all childhood cancers and blood disorders in a carefully supervised training environment. Our patient population represents every form of childhood cancer and blood disorder, which allows physicians and researchers to interact side-by-side together professionally, as well as academically with trainees.
