Medical Education Programs and Training in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology

Medical and research trainees have the unique opportunity to interact with a faculty of more than 135 experts in pediatric hematology and pediatric oncology in one of the top hospitals for children with cancer. As an expansive center that has experience with every form of childhood cancer and blood disorder, our professional and educational development programs offer extensive, in-depth exposure to a multitude of pediatric hematologic and oncologic issues.
Over 1,900 new patients are seen yearly in our outpatient clinic along with over 33,000 outpatient visits per year, allow our physicians, researchers, nurse practitioners, and fellows to have exposure to all childhood cancers and blood disorders, in a carefully supervised training environment. Our patient population represents every form of childhood cancer and blood disorder, which allows physicians and researchers to interact side-by-side together professionally, as well as educationally with trainees.
