Dr. Ronald Bernardi is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine where he received his medical degree and his Ph.D. He later completed his residency and a specialized fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at Texas Children’s Hospital, the pediatric teaching hospital of Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Bernardi is a member of the Developmental Therapeutics Program at Texas Children’s Cancer Center. He is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Ronald Bernardi is interested in cancer pharmacology, experimental therapeutics, and drug development. Dr. Ronald Bernardi has been researching the identification and evaluation of novel therapeutic targets for medulloblastoma, including the use of shRNA genetic screens. He is in the laboratory of Dr. Thomas Westbrook.
