About Ronald Bernardi, MD, PhD

Education

Dr. Ronald Bernardi is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine where he received his medical degree and his Ph.D. He later completed his residency and a specialized fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at Texas Children’s Hospital, the pediatric teaching hospital of Baylor College of Medicine.

Clinical Activities

Dr. Bernardi is a member of the Developmental Therapeutics Program at Texas Children’s Cancer Center. He is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Research Activities

Dr. Ronald Bernardi is interested in cancer pharmacology, experimental therapeutics, and drug development. His laboratory has been researching the identification and evaluation of novel therapeutic targets and combination therapies for neuroblastoma and osteosarcoma, including the use of functional genetic screens.
