Dr. Phil Steuber’s primary interest is in the development of improved anticancer therapies for childhood leukemia through the use of randomized therapeutic trials. He particularly is interested in the pilot studies necessary to establish and recommend new agents and combinations for use in children with newly diagnosed leukemia. Dr. Steuber has participated in the design and piloting of cooperative group phase III studies for both acute lymphoid and myeloid leukemia. He is currently involved in study committees for a clinical trial for children with standard risk acute lymphoid leukemia and for therapies for infants with leukemia.
Dr. Steuber is a member of the Leukemia Program.
