About Dr. Monica Gramatges

Dr. Monica Gramatges’ research interests are in the areas of Leukemia, Cancer Genetics, and Survivorship. She is investigating the relationship between germ line variants in genes associated with telomerase and risk for development of pediatric acute myeloid leukemia. She is also exploring the relationship between telomerase variants and germ line telomere length to specific therapy-related toxicities. Additionally, she is studying the role of germ line telomere length as a predictor of second malignancy risk after childhood cancer therapy.

Dr. Gramatges is a member of the of the Cancer Genetics and Genomics Program, the Leukemia Program, and the Lymphoma Program.
