Dr. Marc Horowitz is a pediatric hematologist-oncologist for the Texas Children’s Cancer Center. Dr. Horowitz is an experienced solid tumor clinician and investigator in the area of development of new therapies for childhood solid tumors including those of the brain, bone and soft-tissues. Dr. Marc Horowitz is directing the TXCH efforts in clinical trials informatics and the development of a website for long-term survivors of childhood cancer called the Passport for Care® Application.

Dr. Marc Horowitz is working with Dr. Ernest Frugé in developing and implementing educational strategies that help health care providers develop their capacity for “reflective practice,” effective communication and leadership. With Dr. Ernest Frugé, he has launched a website that provides a comprehensive introduction to Reflective Practice and Leadership educational methods. Reflective Practice and Leadership in Medicine and Medical Education provides free CME credits (AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™) to professionals who carefully review the materials.
