About Dr. Jeremy Slone

Dr. Jeremy Slone is a member of the Global Oncology Program and the Rare Tumors Program at Texas Children’s Cancer Center. During his fellowship, Dr. Slone led a novel research relationship between Vanderbilt University and the University of Zambia and University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka, Zambia, to investigate pediatric cancers in developing countries.

Dr. Slone will be primarily based at the Princess Marina Hospital in Gaborone, Botswana, where he will provide clinical care to hematology and oncology patients and continue to research the disparities in outcomes seen in children residing in developing countries. His clinical interests are primarily focused on pediatric oncology in developing countries.
