About Dr. Jenny McDade Despotovic

Dr. Jenny Despotovic’s research is focused on improved understanding of the pathophysiology of pediatric immune thrombocytopenia (ITP). She is currently working on several clinical and translational projects related to efficacy and safety of novel ITP treatments in children, as well as investigating the mechanisms of response and toxicity in commonly used ITP treatments. Dr. Despotovic is particularly interested in investigating the development of chronic ITP in children, as well as expanding treatment options for refractory patients.

Dr. Jenny Despotovic is Director of the Immune Hematology Program.
