Dr. Gladstone Airewele is a a physician at Texas Children’s Hematology Center and Director of the International Center’s Global Hematology Program. He specializes in pediatric sickle cell disease.
Dr. Airewele is a graduate of the University of Benin School of Medicine, Nigeria, where he received his medical degree before transferring to the Neward Beth Israel Medical Center where he completed his residency. Dr. Airewele was accepted to the fellowship program in hematology/oncology at Baylor College of Medicine where he began his career at Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Centers at Texas Children’s Hospital, the pediatric teaching hospital of Baylor College of Medicine. He later received his Masters in Public Health from the University of Texas School of Public Health. Dr. Airewele is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a board-certified specialist in pediatric hematology/oncology.
His clinical interests include: leukemia, lymphoma, hematology and sickle cell disease.
