Volunteers have many options available to them through the Periwinkle Arts in Medicine Program from one-time performances or hands-on workshops with patients to on-going weekly visits to the clinic or inpatient units.
In the past, volunteers have led music, origami, drawing, photography, bead making, fabric painting, magic, sculpture, jewelry making, printing and storytelling activities, to name a few. Artists and non-artists alike are welcome.
We also welcome groups with an interest in performing or hosting a craft or art party.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Carol Herron, Periwinkle Arts In Medicine Coordinator at 832-822-1455.
